World AWEtism Day

We celebrated World Awetism(autism) day on April 2nd with performances, an art exhibition and a lecture to create awareness. Autism is not a disorder but just a unique way of being and compassionate acceptance will make the world a better place for all.

Pranav played us several tunes expertly, setting a calming tone to our whole evening.

Vignesh enthralled us with a peppy tamil number.

Bharathy Mam, erstwhile principal of Srihari Vikasam gave us an activity filled talk called 'Celebrating Differences'. The main theme of the talk was to de-label autism or any disability, to accept the individual with his or her unique qualities while teaching them coping skills to face the world.

Sathya's Solo Art show was inaugrated.

It was an enjoyable get together with eats arranged by Our Spaces and Sai Bakery.
