Chennai is more a village then a metro and the seven degrees of separation often seem lesser. Naren is related to an old friend and we knew we were in for a treat on the evening of July the 15th, 2018.
Crooning in Tamil, Hindi and English, Naren mellifluously warmed into all our hearts and was forced to keep singing even though his planned time was over, our melody appetites were not satisfied yet!
One of best signs that a singer is good is when the audience wants a piece of action too!
Ram too wanted a piece of action and what did he sing? 'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..!'
Nothing can compensate an evening of pleasure and joy, But Naren, we are deeply grateful. Do come back another day...
